Status
MiKTeX 2.5 has been released on August 3, 2006. It is considered out-of-date.
The availability of MiKTeX 2.5 ends some time in the not so distant future:
as of a fixed date it will not be possible to install packages from the remote package
repository. See this page, for more information.
